BATON ROUGE, LA – Sage Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Services, part of The Carpenter Health Network, has opened Sage Wound Care: A Center for Restoration and Healing, to serve the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Located at 8000 Summa Avenue in Baton Rouge, Sage Wound Care offers comprehensive and holistic outpatient wound care services for treatment and prevention of skin breakdown due to chronic conditions.

“The development of Sage Rehab Hospital’s wound care center further illustrates our ongoing commitment to this community, said Ray Forrester, Project Manager. We are pleased to expand our services to meet the needs of the people whom we serve.”

An official Grand Opening was held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Healthcare executives and medical providers from across the community attended, toured the new facility, and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located inside Sage Rehabilitation Hospital, Sage Wound Care, patients are seen by appointment with a physician referral. Walk-ins are also welcomed.
