Homedica House Calls is Participating
in a New Program to Enhance Your Care:
Primary Care First
Primary Care First is an innovative healthcare payment program that aims to improve our patients’ care experience by reducing administrative burdens, so our team at Homedica House Calls can spend more time with you.
Giving doctors extra support to help you get better care
Our goal has always been to provide you with the highest quality of care. Through Primary Care First, we will receive additional resources from Medicare and other health insurance companies to help us enhance our work and provide you the best quality, patient-centered care.
More information for patients with original Medicare
As part of this program, Medicare will start sharing some of your personal health information with us, such as when you receive care at hospitals, emergency departments, and specialist offices. This will help provide us with a more complete picture of your health and allow us to better coordinate your care.
If you want to stop Medicare from sharing this information, you should call
1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). TTY users should call 1-877-486-2048.
Your Medicare benefits are not changing, and this program is only intended to enhance the healthcare you receive from Homedica House Calls. You still have the right to use or visit any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare, at any time. Your doctor may continue to recommend that you see particular doctors for your specific health needs, but it is always your choice which doctors you use or hospital you visit.
If you have questions or concerns, you can call Homedica House Calls at 1-844-414-2072 or bring it up at your next appointment.

Homedica HouseCalls is dedicated to providing the highest quality home health and therapy services in the safety of our patient’s homes. We are fully operational, and are accepting new patients at this time.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our healthcare professionals are being screened on a daily basis for evidence and symptoms of exposure. Our patients’ safety is our utmost goal, and we are taking added steps and precautions to minimize the risk of exposure to our patients across The Carpenter Health Network.
Additionally, in keeping with government recommendations, all non-essential staff are working remotely from the isolation of their own homes. Through practicing social distancing and thorough hygiene practices, our support staff is doing their part to keep our patients safe.
Bringing back the medical house calls of yesteryear with the medical breakthroughs of today
At Homedica, we provide the expert treatment of physicians and nurse practitioners where patients are most at ease—in the comfort safety of their homes. For those who are unable to comfortably leave the home, we provide primary care visits to patients.
If you or a loved one find leaving home burdensome or if you cannot safely leave your home, our physicians and nurse practitioners work directly with your primary care physician to provide the same level of outstanding care to you in the comfort of your home. Care is tailored to the patient’s individual needs, thereby helping reduce hospital admissions and emergency room visits.
Why deal with the anxiety of traveling to a doctor’s office? Overseen by our Board-Certified physician, we provide primary medical care to patients who have limited mobility.
With our nurse practitioners and doctors on call at all times, Homedica patients can rest easy knowing that we make medical house calls to ensure personalized care for people who are unable to comfortably leave the home.
Those with chronic illness, who find leaving home burdensome and dangerous to their fragile condition, now have an option for high-quality medical care that brings a medical professional right to their own door! Through the convenience of medical house calls, Homedica offers services provided by physicians and nurse practitioners, who remain keenly focused on meeting the needs of both the patient and the family.
Homedica’s home care physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine and offer an expertise and commitment to providing a continuum of care tailored to the patient’s individual needs, thereby helping reduce hospital admissions and emergency room visits.
