About St. Joseph Hospice Foundation

The St. Joseph Hospice Foundation (SJHF) is a non-profit organization chartered in January of 2003. Its mission is to provide comfort, peace and dignity to terminally ill patients receiving hospice care. SJHF supports those in our communities through financial assistance for basic needs such as utilities, funeral costs, supplies and special needs not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or other insurance plans. Funding comes strictly through contributions to the SJHF. All donations and in-kind gifts are tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code and help support hospice care for those who could not otherwise receive these services.
