As Chief Compliance Officer for Home Health, Lori brings a fresh new wealth of experience to the staff of STAT Home Health having spent 14 years in health care services and management. She oversees the Home Health Corporate Compliance Program that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and any concerns within the organization to ensure the CEO, leadership team, and employees are in compliance with Home Health rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company’s Standards of Conduct.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), Lori began her career as a Registered Nurse in a Louisiana hospital on a cardiac unit.
After a year, she moved into management, gaining much experience with nursing staff, clinical programs, State regulations, and employee education. She served as Assistant Director of Nursing, then moved up, in less than a year later, as the Director of Nursing for a nursing home facility, where in 2009 she was awarded the Nurse Executive Award for her hard work and outstanding service to the company.
From there, Lori gained experience in home health for many years, then was offered a position in an adult day facility, where she served as Quality Coordinator for over a year before coming back to where her heart was at STAT Home Health with The Carpenter Health Network. She performed as Compliance Auditor in the Compliance Department before moving up, in less than a year, to where she is now as the Chief Compliance Officer for Home Health, where she is bringing new strategies and innovations to improve the home health organization.
