Kelsey Gibson serves as the Executive Director of Finance and Strategy and has been with the Network since January 2022.
In her role, she reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) working to lead financial planning processes, including budgeting & forecasting, monitoring key financial metrics, assessing the financial implications of strategic decisions, overseeing the presentation of accurate and timely reports for the CEO, monitoring, and driving collections activities, and wealth and estate planning for the CEO.
Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s of Public Administration from Louisiana State University.
She first joined the Network as Accounting Manager, later becoming the Director of Financial Reporting. In these roles she worked to fine tune processes and procedures within the Accounting Department and developed relationships with Executive Directors and support staff across the Network. Developing relationships and learning operations, has helped Kelsey to develop a deeper understanding of the Network and help truly dissect the story that the financials truly tell. Kelsey believes, “If you believe a business is built on relationships, make building them your business.”
Kelsey has spent 15 years in Accounting, working as an Auditor for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s Office, combating Medicaid fraud for the Department of Health & Hospitals, and an Auditor at Hannis T. Bourgeois in the Government and Automotive sectors. Kelsey has spent the last 11 years working in Financial Accounting primarily in the healthcare sector holding management positions at Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge and Amedisys Home Health and Hospice. During her tenure at Amedisys, Kelsey successfully worked on teams to integrate over 200 Hospice locations into the fold.
Kelsey is a member of the Junior League of Baton Rouge, serves a Girl Scout Leader, a Board Member for the Girls on the Run, Junior Achievement classroom volunteer, and a recent graduate of the Barton Leadership Program.
